Photo requirements of smart identity card
Photo on the smart identity card should show your full frontal face with clear facial features.
The following situations will not be accepted if you in the photo are:- Seen with hair across eyes or eyebrows
- Wearing head coverings, such as hats, headbands, etc.
- Seen with reflection on frame/tinted lens
- Wearing a frame across eyes or eyebrows
- Wearing coloured contact lens
- Wearing overdone make-up
- Seen in portrait style
- Not centred
- Seen with exaggerated facial expressions
- Seen with eyes tilted
Tips to get a good photo on smart identity card
- Face the camera with an expression of ease
- If you prefer to wear make-up, please make it light and avoid using cosmetics that are dark in tone
- Have plenty of sleep and rest beforehand to maintain a fresh and lively look
- If you wear glasses, non-reflective lens will produce better results
- Wear dark coloured clothes with a collar
